Applications are open for the 2021 Massachusetts Teacher of the Year program. Yes, 2021 is not a typo.

Nominate the teacher down the hall who does the really cool after-school program and invites every student in the school. Consider the teacher who takes on the “tough” schedule and helps the students shine. Did your own children have a teacher who advocates for better learning conditions for all students? Nominate them too.

Want to speak out for public education? You don’t need to wait to be nominated; apply for yourself and elevate your own instructional leadership and contributions to your school and community.

More information and the application documents are now available.

Experienced Massachusetts educators are eligible for nomination for the Teacher of the Year (TOY) program. The Massachusetts TOY is part of the National Teacher of the Year program that is supported by the National Education Association.
