Written Exams
Eight dates are currently scheduled for written exams. Please check the link for registration information, available dates and payment options.
A passing score on the written exam is required to register for a performance exam.
Performance Exams
Three dates are scheduled for performance exams. Candidates will be assigned one of the three dates for their exam. Please check the link for registration instructions
Registration Deadline – January 29, 2021
• February 27, 2021 (snow date March 6, 2021)
• March 6, 2021 (snow date March 20, 2021)
• March 27, 2021 (snow date April 10, 2021)
All exam dates are subject to cancellation due to school closures and other public health measures enacted by state government and local health departments.
Don’t forget Educators who hold a bachelor’s degree may be eligible for an Emergency License for the 2020-21 school year. For more information on all the requirements for a VTE license, please check with the DESE Office of Educator Licensure.
