Federal Accountability and Teacher Prep Regs- Going, going…gone?

It appears that the Obama-era regulations governing school and district accountability under ESSA and teacher preparation programs under the Higher Education Act are facing the chopping block under the current administration.

Two joint resolutions have been filed to nullify the teacher preparation regulations and the accountability and state plans under ESSA.

Debate is happening live on C-SPAN in the House and a vote is coming soon.
