Licensure: Public Comment is Open til May 1

Changes to educator licensure are open for public comment. The Board of Elementary and Secondary Education voted to solicit comment on the proposed changes to the licensure system on Tuesday February 28, 2017.

You can review the draft changes to 603 CMR 7.00 Educator Licensure and Preparation Program and 603 CMR 44.00 Educator License Renewal.

Public comments on the 7.00 license regulations (educator licensure and preparation) can be sent to 603CMR700PublicComment2017@doe.mass.edu or you can complete the public comment survey for 603 CMR 7.00, Educator Licensure and Preparation Program Approval.

Public comments on the 44.00 license regulations (educator license renewal) can be submitted via the public comment survey for 603 CMR 44.00, Educator License Renewal Regulations or sent via email to 603CMR700PublicComment2017@doe.mass.edu

Comments are due May 1, 2017.

Reminder: You are welcome comment on agreement or disagreement with the proposed changes. Additionally, you can comment and make suggestions on changes that are not included in the proposed changes.
