Sesame Street Resources for Helping Kids

Educators know students needs are not captured by analyzing test score data. Since students need more than test preparation to deal with challenges in their own lives.

Sesame Street in Communities offers free resources for educators, parents, guardians, services providers and community members on helping kids build academic and social emotional skills. Selected resources are available in multiple languages.

This week, Sesame Street Communities released a series of tools designed to help kids who have experienced a traumatic event. The Traumatic Experiences tool kits include professional development for educators, videos and activities for kids.

We hope you find these tools useful for lessons, classroom resources or just to connect with a student in your class.
