The number of new COVID-19 cases in public schools dropped again but 377 staff and 30 students tested positive in the week prior. The school year will be ending in the coming weeks for many districts with students and staff transitioning into summer programs. Masks continue to be required for students and staff while inside school buildings. The COVID-19 vaccine is also now available for children ages 12 and up.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has a comprehensive interactive dashboard with community level data on testing, hospitalizations and COVID-19 Variants. You can visit the dashboard here.
