ICYMI the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) approved a set of changes to the regulations for Educator Licensure and Preparation Program Approval (603 CMR 7.00) in June 2017.

The DESE currently has open FOUR opportunities to make your voice heard on education policies: Subject Matter Knowledge (SMK) for educator licenses, guidelines for educators with an out-of-country license who see to apply for a Massachusetts educator license, guidelines for the five-year cap on employment under a Provisional license and guidelines for pre-practicum requirements for candidates in educator preparation programs.
