Educator Evaluation #DataVizDay

MAEdEval
Massachusetts public schools phased in a new educator evaluation system in 2012-13. The first year 92% Massachusetts teachers were rated Proficient or Exemplary. As more teachers were evaluated by the state standards, the proficient or exemplary percentage increased each year.
In 2016-17, just over 68,000 teachers were evaluated with the system; 96% of the teachers were judged to be proficient or exemplary.
