If you are applying for your first academic Professional stage license or getting ready to renew a Professional license, let’s get you prepared now to avoid rushing later. This workshop covers the general requirements for a first Professional license. All Professional licenses must renew every five years, so we will explore options for collecting Professional Development Points (PDPs), documenting Individual Professional Development Plans (IPDPs) and working with ELAR.
Are there additional topics you would like covered? More dates? Do you have questions or issues you would like to see address in the presentation? Let us know in the comments below!
Apologies in advance but this will NOT be recorded. Attendees will have access to all the presentation materials after the session.
I am a certified teacher and Reading Specialist form CT moving to Mass. I have set up a ELAR account but am still unclear (after reading and researching) what I have to do to get an emergency certification for one year and then, after 25 years of teaching, do I still have to take the tests?
Hi Sally! Can you please send us an email at licensure@massteacher.org? We can get back to you via email.
